So you intend to start dozen of new threads relating to this ?
Super! At least good to know sad future of this, once nice forum!
Making intrigue of this funny project doesn't mean it will attract some attention here.
Whatever you do, it will stay just ordinary, poor performances pulse induction funny toy .
Just spare us of starting hundred threads more. Keep you small ideas on one place, please.
Do not polute this nice forum.

    Hi okantex,
Sorry... but this thread is related to PCB...
Please ask all your questions later in other threads related to PI-111.

    Thanks,

Qiaozhi what package do you use to make the PCB layout ?

    Latest Version

    See attached zip file.
    The following errors were corrected:
    1. The missing 10K Battery Setting resistor has been added.
    2. The PCB name was written as PI-110. Changed to PI-111.
    3. Original schematic from 1843 showed separate grounds in use, but this was not intended. All components now use the same ground.
    4. D1 changed to 1N4937.
    5. Lead spacing of C1 increased to 0.3".
    6. Pin B of R26 connected to -12V (battery supply).
    7. Emitters of Q3, Q6 and Q8 connected to -12V.

The layout passes all DRC and continuity checks.
    The board size is 4" x 3.5".

    Sorry for my eanglish!
    Hi,

I see what you mean. You will be using this PI when it gets completed...

I am going to make a PCB by Qiaozhi's layout... I really like it.
And I no longer desier anyone else design a PCB... maybe later for their use....

Now I'm working on the software... will add an Auto-Tune to its settings.

    Best regards,
    1843

    Hi Qiaozhi
Nice PCB and had good design. What is software name that you done with it?
    Best regards.

    Hi Qiaozhi,
Nice work, I'm thinking the pot R26 and volatge into PC1 is going to be a problem as voltage top/bottom is +5/-5....

What PCB application do you use just as a matter of interest?

    Cheers

    Hi ,

is this design's TX-off fast enought to get early samples for discrimination tests.
    what is teorical value?

    Hi Qiaozhi,
Your PCB layout really skyrockets my motivation for development the software!

There are some minor errors... please see your inbox.

    Thank you very much!

Do you want to design a PCB?

Nothing! As I get nothing in return for the software.

I see no filtering in there, its almost the same as the ADC in the PICs.
The only Measure against Noise would be running the ADC during sleep Mode.

If you want Filters inside, a Cypress PSOC would be worth a Try.
Configurable Analog Blocks could reduce the Part count (and cost) of a Metal Detecor a lot.
As far as i recall, the Hardware can even be reconfigured while the PSOC is running...
The Cypress PSO is a interesting piece of hardware. Someone has already made a metal detector with it.

Also , I have not seen the internal schematic of the atmel , but it must have a lot of internal filtering and also because of the High-Clock frequency . This will be a Great little P.I. when it gets done..................Regards.........Eugene52
