Has anyone worked out the schematic for this thing?
I know of several mods for it, and got one for giggles and grins. What I am hoping to find, is where to hook a VDI into this circuit.
This is such a cheap, easily obtained, and reasonably sensitive detector, that it seems to me to be a fine platform to play with.
The key is the schematic.
I have been considering buying another one to de-populate and trace the circuit board that way.
I know Carl has reverse engineered at least one detector and traced the schematic so I assume it can be done, but has it been done?
There was a series of mods done by someone, and mentioned in another thread. The link to the mods is gone, but the wayback time machine has it.
Still, I'd like to find out where to wire the X and Y leads for a true VDI into this board.
