Hi,
Before sealing your C.Scope back up, I’d like to give you a few tips that will work really well:
1) Clean the solder side of the printed circuit board (PCB) thoroughly using a cleaner and a brush to remove solder residue, until the board is perfectly glossy/shiny.
2) Get an insulating conformal coating/lacquer for PCBs and apply it to the entire solder side of the board.
Be careful not to apply the insulating varnish to the black connector: cover it with a piece of masking tape to prevent varnish ingress.
Leave the box open for at least 24 hours so that the solvents in the paint don't damage the potentiometers and trimmers.
3) Solder the wires of the search coil's internal connector directly onto the board.
With these tweaks, your machine will become much more stable.
