Γεια σου Fitos . Εχω δοκιμασει το CL3 και το Bandido. Το CL3 εχει καλα αποτελεσματακαι ειναι ενα καλο μηχανακι αλλα ως εκει. Το SS60 ειναι δυσκολο στην κατασκευη αλλα ειναι μηχανημα ... οχι μηχανακι(κατ'εμε).Τελος παντων μετα τον Οκτωβριο που δεν θα εχω πολλες δουλειες θα δοκιμασω και το TGS και βλεπουμε. Απο βαθος πως τα παει???

δουλευω 2 μηνες στο εδαφος με παρα πολυ καλα αποτελεσματα . Δουλευει πολυ καλα και στη παραλεια [μαυρη αμμος] και σε κακο εδαφος. Πολυ καλο discriminator

No the company SRIMT makes the MD3030 detector (Fisher 1236 rip-off) the coils can be bought for "spares" for around $25 each. Next time I order some detectors I will order some spare coils too, it anyone on the forum wants them then I will supply AT COST.

Send them an email, might be a good line to get into.

I suggest you build GSabre, it's worth.
Took me 3 days only (bandido much more time) and it use just some obsolete ic... that maybe you already have in components box. That's happened to me... few LM393... an LF353... all easy, and if you haven't LM308 you could use TL081 instead... and don't lose performances.

Very easy... respect to bandidoII that uses MC33178, TLC2262 etc not so easy to find now !

Voltage converter works perfectly at f/2 on GSabre, not like in BandidoII.

Performances are about the same of bandidoII , I've 27cm on 1eur without having tuned coil/cap... with DD22 coil, just switched on et voilla !

Also PCB is small and good designed.

Only lack is in audio.

If you sum things... with what Ivconic said about coils you'll get a very nice detector about for free !

Hi Max . As i said before i will give it a try after two months and i"ll write the results of comparison with SS60.

Ohhhhhhh Hard one that (CZ VCO). It sounds so cool.

Have you checked the CZ schematic posted somewhere on the forum a long time ago, can't find link? I will try.

BTW I HAVE a source of cheap Fisher heads, but not made by Fisher. Check out this Chinese manufacturer, they sell the heads for $25 and they work just great with this design!!

I never put the pcb of Anker inside box (i made it with 2 general purpose pcb's 10x16 cm) so it is not easy to make a field test.I made only air test and compared it with CL3, XLT and GTI2500. At the air the SS60 is better.... best sensitivity good audio and good disk (two tone). On winter i will make a pcb for it so i will finish the project and it will be ready for work and for tests. One time i tried the Bandido (not with original IC's) but the results was not good (Bad). Maybe on Oktober i will try the TGS and i will tell you the results and the comparison with SS60. For me it is better to be better than SS60 because so i will have a fine detector. Anyway i will read all your posts here when i decide to construct it.
