Here long range mean high depth?. Coil is 1 X 1 m 12 turns, wire 0.75 mm. For biggest coil 1.5 X 1.5 m, 9 turns, wire 0.75 mm.

This is normal pulse induction metaldetector,NOT long rang locator.LRL is principle not seriously.

Yes, I am knowing pi type detector very well.
I built some various circuit of it at the past ,
Also I had design in the matter .
But I am very interesting build and examine LRL now.
Some people in this forum built it. Most of them saying
, secret.
