I saw that pages latter, but I don’t remember where I saw them.
With those pages, was another circuit diagram.
Are you having them complete? Can you upload it completely?
    Do you know circuit model?
    Regards.
I keep these too. but I do not keep all comments following the schematics and certainly can say nothing about it was released or not. it was a clone of 1266 I believe.
    happy hunting

Now, this machine IS a 1266 clone, soooooooooo the search head will work fine, and the BEST bit is they are VERY well made resin cast well balanced, open webcoil and they only cost $50 each!! I can get a whole load of them if people want them but you will have to change the connector your self, Or use the same one on your own Fisher clone .

I would have to have around 30 requests to make it worth an order "out of season", but if enough people here want these heads, I am happy to buy a load for the forum.

KT315, I have that somewhere too, originally from the UK repair centre (the OLD one). It's amazing what you can get with a little spare change

T101 is a STANDARD centre tapped AUDIO output txfr. The sort you find in cheap transistor radios. All you ae loooking for is the 180 degree phase shift.
I agree those are very cheap and presents excellent starting machine. I had 2 devices so far and sold them out also.
But first i perormed detailed checks.
Looks like some of Fisher's previous models, but i am not sure it is 1266 clone.
Many things done different than on 1266.
One thing really bugs me on MD3030 is huge unstabillity. I tried somehow to correct that problem, yet without succes.
My last doubts are in coil. Although very fine,hi quality...seems coil is not that good inside. Something is missing there. Performs like without faraday cage or not nulled well? Not sure.
When Sense is high MD3030 is "feeling" to much grass, hotrocks and minerals. Bedlam of false signals. Yet if Sense is lowered to stabilize it, than depths are low, very low...turns to very shallow detector.
Not the case with original 1266. At original 1266 operater can always notice huge difference between good signal and false by such different audio. At MD3030 audio is same on good signals and falses, no difference.
Pitty. Device itself is produced very quality. All looks excellent. Enclosure, shaft, coil especially....it is very cheap..shame.
So..Sean i am very interested in you reasons to beleive it is actually 1266 clone?
    Best regards!

Too bad it was not Stainless Steel !!! How old , Before world war II ?? How deep in the ground ?? Amazing , That's something more like from China or Japan , not U.S.S.R ?? May I ask what machine you used , P.I. or VLF ??...................Eugene

    Fisher 1266 Part 1

Thank-you Sean , The files work now. And I see KT315 added the original schematic . So the only thing missing is information on the "phase reference" T-101 transformer , and there is very little information on the search-coil. Over the years on this forum , I have not seen too much information on Fisher Search-coils. ...But the circuit board looks easy !!! And the field tests I read on the 1266 are very Good !!!...........Thank-You.....Eugene
