Depends on the coil, 20 cm coil : 21 turns - 130 mA, 25 turns - 100 mA, 31 turns - 70 mA.

For wire I used 1000 Volts isolation wire (later more at Baracuda site..)
Al coils can detect a euro over 25 cm, the 21 turns coil can detect a euro / mans gold ring at some 30 cm !!
