When you post a message, scroll down the page until you see the button labelled "Manage Attachments". Then click on it, browse to the file and select upload.
The schematic needs to be in one of formats shown in the list, and note the maximum allowed size. If the image is too large, then reduce it using an image manipulation program such as GIMP.
