I wish to display the output from a Garmin model 100 depth finder on a laptop in another part of my boat. I have a side-scan unit and only want straight down information. I would like there to be a color image with the colors representing the strength of the return, just like a high-end unit. Can I use the Garmin for this? Does anyone know where I can obtain this software cheap or as freeware? If not can someone suggest an alternative way of doing this?
