  • Editing XTF files?

    Any one into programming here?
I'm hoping to get in touch with someone that can write me a small converting application for the XTF files.

Please send a PM, as I'm not reading the forum to often.....

Edit Need to edit the XTF header, and split the large XTF files into several smaller files, and trim the start and end of the files.

What XTF system are you converting to and from? What fields need to be edited?

            Interesting.
Trimming starts/ends is easy in either SonarWiz.MAP or SonarWeb.
Splitting can be a bit balky in SonarWiz, but usually works.

Are you talking one or two files or a regular thing?

A regular thing, would be nice to have the feature for future files.
I know that e.g. SonarWiz har this function, and its very nice. But I can not afford the cost for SonarWiz at this moment, as this is only a private search for some old ships in the nations largest inland lake.
This is a "non-profit" operation, as it is only of historical interest. No commercial interest into this at all, therefore there are no really $$ to invest in this..

                Understand.
If it was one or two files I'd help you out, but I can't commit to a regular thing.
                Sorry!

                Good luck!
