Silverdog surf PI 1.2 question

Hi everybody. New to the forum. I ordered the silver dog surf pi PCB kit and received it. I've got a parts list and schematic silver dog had posted so assembly is no issue. I am confused as to what the proper voltage for the power supply would be. Also what the best coil designs are. I have a lot of enamel copper wire. Sorry if this is an old topic.

The battery voltage should be 12V, and a mono coil with between 300uH and 500uH will work fine. You can use the coil calculator at the top of the Coils Forum to work out how many turns you will need.
