It looks like they are plain old metal detectors with a bunch of hooey copied over from some LRL. No one in their right mind sells an LRL for $299, when there are plenty of gullibillies eager to pay 10 times that much. Ergo, it's likely a crappy Chinese metal detector, so if you're specifically looking for a crappy Chinese metal detector then this one certainly has a funky look to it.
