Teknetics G2 PRO and CONS

Those numbers in the middle of display showing ground phase changing, according to mineral (Fe3O4) condition in soil. Very useful thing in prospecting, where soil is "heavy" and changeable in mineralisation. G2 is primarily dedicated to prospecting.

All other detectorists use only disc mode (relic detecting and coin shooting)
I have seen that ground phase only on one video @ youtube but in French.

In disc mode you lost about 4cm in depth on coin in comparison to All Metal mode. If you prefer disc mode (notch inclusive) T2 would be better buy. G2 is OK for coin-shooters leading by maxim "dig on all signals" which suit to All Metal mode of G2.

I mainly use all metal on my 6000 di pro sl ... but ... he has switch to change to disc in second ...
I will use AM mode and listen to sound... two tones ? and look at top of screen for ID

In All Metal there is no two tones audio feedback only VCO, no depth indicator,
and small lines on top of line above ground phase numbers representing ID no.
