  • Waterproof housings

    Hi All:
Has anyone tried to build a PI-1 detector in a waterproof housing? I was thinking of something similar to a Tesoro sand shark for underwater use. Since I live pretty far inland, freshwater lake diving might be the most trash-reduced hunting around here.

I would imagine that one could set the controls dry, then close up the case for use underwater. Still, it would be nice to have a case with a clear front. Looked through Allied's catalog and didn't see anything.

Or is there a company that makes waterproof pots and switches?

    Thanks
    BG

It good outdoor during rain but not advisable in underwater hunting because of the size..it need to be attached in tge body not in the md shaft because it will float.
