For chronology, I think the version you start with should be included as well, bernte_one ? Please post the pcb and schematic you aim to improve.

can Export gerber, pdf , bw Image for all free to use like always
hope we can do it together

Hi bernte_one! Have you build this detector? If yes, how do it perform? I like to build it as well the admiral pi buti donthave file on it.

Hi bernte_one good work on new layout, Ive been trying to work out the function of Q3
it appears to be some type of switch just not sure what it does ?

S of Q3 go to timer / oszi from Pic Controller
D goes to GND of U3 and U4 lm358 ? (maybe Timing of 1st an 2nd sample works together with U4)

                    btw
one good think, i dreamed last night that i had a working detector with yellow led indicator on frontpanel (it is a good sign)
i think it was the nes 500

can somebody tell me what the word "bias" means
it is a marking on trimpot rv1 same on schematic

                        something like Offset?

Bias is to DC preshift of voltage and current from the Zero conditions to provide correct working point of TR or IC according its characteristic. Offset could be included in bias setting.

Biasing in electronics is the method of establishing predetermined voltages or currents at various points of an electronic circuit for the purpose of establishing proper operating conditions in electronic components.
