Why don't you build either Surf-PI, Baracuda, or Minipulse Plus?
Any of these will work if built on stripboard -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stripboard
Then you don't need a PCB.

If you can make PCBs yourself, then here's a single-sided version of the Surf-PI ->

In that case, how are you ever going to build it, even if you have an image of the PCB layout?
