  • Coil Din Connectors

I'm building a couple of detectors but having never had one before I don't know which type of din plugs/sockets to use...

From googling I guess there are different type depending on the detector manufacturer but the 5 pin 240° seems to be the most common... is that correct?

Also, I guess it makes more sense to connect the cable on the coil end direct without a metal connector...

I have decided to change all my coils/detectors to this connector so I can standardise future builds.

Searching the threads I am yet to find a list of different coil plug pinouts, has anyone done one yet?

If not I may start one.

Connectors I currently use are Garrett ACE250, Whites 6B & D5 and Fisher CZ Quicksilver.

The connectors I have ordered from that link seem to be the same as the Garrett.

The ones kt315 linked are the same type I am using/abusing at the moment. Been out all weathers seem to be standing up well.
