Can't find many comments from people that have built one. Strange for 10 years normally people show good units on YouTube.

Seen a couple of threads dated 2007 & 2011 both from the same builder that states the device has good depth but discrimination is none existent in the ground and power consumption was high @ 300ma

I've written a hex file, in atmega 8.
You do not need to be a programmer.
Just to have hardware that supports atmega 8.
I use a USB AVR programmer.
And software eXtreme Burner - AVR.
