I can find info on the Gnome-M on the Russian forum. Is it a upgrade


I made the Malysh FM


Worked okay on the desk but not that useful in the field.



Or any other worthwhile pinpointed suggestions

Searching for this I stumbled on eddy71 video of Malysh FM. Works much better than mine might have to attack it again make a new coil and update the firmware. Mine wasn't to bad if the pointer was stationary on the ground and a coin fetched to the pointer but not so good rooting around a dug hole. Forever having to switch it on and off.
