Personally I would like to hunt for treasures at Iran or even at the old Bactria countries
but the question always is - especially for you - is it really worth everything?!

With my actual knowledge I am not highly motivated to visit the Iran personally and dig for treasures
because with those martial laws and corrupt system you really have to know how everything works
and you need powerful connections. If the government tells me I should come and dig for them no problem
but I doubt they will contact me! Well, perhaps I should contact them!

You are luring us with a lucrative participation from the treasures if you find any but hey:
How should this work? After you found something you'll send the money by bank-transfer?

Or do we have to visit the beautiful Iran personally to see what you have found and to get the money or the
antiques directly?

Check out the files from "Tim" if they are not blocked to view and download and built some PI detector with 40cm coil
for good results (depth).
But my advice is - the same as for Hammerhead from Egypt:

Go and buy yourself some already good produced metal-detector!

I just can recommend the Makro Racer (from Turkey) with 40cm coil for ca. 800 Euros which is not
that much money because since 2 years I find stuff without end with it and deep stuff.
You don't need a detector that costs 5000 dollars for the beginning !!! Believe me, its a waste of money!


But my main concern for you is your personal security!
Perhaps your fantastic leaders have monitored you already if they check out every website
all the citizens are visiting! Perhaps you are sitting already in jail right now! I will hope not!
Metal-detectors with GPS and simcard connection !!! Unbelievable!

Where can I get such a thing???? In Iran at each city hall? Would be cool, because it auto-tracks all the locations
where I was already running around so afterwards I can see where I must no longer search again!
Especially at Russia with its huge steppe areas this would be the absolute hit!
Because without GPS-mapping you'll getting totally lost there.

So, my friend - if you have the chance and you are sure that you get not into troubles with
your treasure-hunting activity: The best deal for you is traveling to the turkish border
and order there some Makro Racer with 40cm! If you can't get a simple metal-detector
over the border you should not even start with treasure-hunting in your country because
you might face much "heavier" tasks to deal with! And I hope you will find no ammunition
or get bitten by snakes etc.

Of course you also can try some cheap chinese detector at the beginning - for the warm up.
If at least those are allowed! Or you modify some security-detector or wall-searcher but
those are not very deep and they have no iron-discrimination. But for finding old coins they
might work already well enough if you know a good spot where they are not very deep.

PS: If transporting the detector out of Turkey is too dangerous for you, I'm sure there are
enough people who will do it for you for some bakshish because they do this all the time!
They even transport illegally all the people, drugs, weapons and oil etc. from and to Syria.

Or you go directly to Turkey for treasure-hunting! Some good business-relations and everything is fine!
People always like to get some interesting and unique treasures!

Thats why I said you may better go to Turkey for treasure-hunting because at Iran the situation is much worse!
