What you here are not understanding is the following:
Its not POSSIBLE to use 1 or 2 meter coils if the ground is polluted with trash!
Thats why you think it is not possible to work with such coils. But thats wrong!
The better it has to be hidden, the deeper it was, still is or got buried! And they are laughing about people with 50cm deep MDs because their stuff is much deeper and MUCH better hidden! You can find the cache of a looting soldier near the street behind a stone but thats pure luck, all NAZI gold per instance was buried at least one meter (3 feet) deep. Even graves are usual 6 feets under or 1,80 meters deep.
The Jeohunter and Golden King came already with extra available 1m induction balance coils which can easily find a buried alucase 40x30cm at 2 meters depth (of course, I've made the 2 meters in air tests 11-12 years ago and posted them here, check the Jeohunter thread at that times) and distinguish it from iron-stuff - while the 1m PI frames could not do this!
I have nothing against PI but the induction balance technology has better ground balance and is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH faster compared with your nice little or even energy wasting PI-circuits in combination with 1 meter coils where you are walking in the middle of them together with your metallic electronic unit, shovel and various finds, which is another very foolish factor!
So for now the Legend might has a nice multi-frequency which pushes the depth 20% higher or reduces somehow the e-smog but it has still far too low radiation power and too small coils for massive penetration. Many here won't hear and read this cause they are living in their own little "special-configured" treasure-hunting-dreamworld but thats the typical "denial of reality" we see meanwhile all around the world. Brainwashed sheeps only want to hear what their leaders, tutors or mentors are telling them - they have no progression built up on their own thinking. And be glad that we don't go over with our fight against the LRL-betrayer to the "usual" MD-producers with all their commercial-tricks and monopolist-games so they can sell their chinese-made stuff 5 times higher as all the usual consumer electronics costs! btw. the Legend costs inside of Tuerkiye around 200 "Dollars" which means the production costs are 50 Dollars and the rest is nothing than TRADE-DEFICIT - but for you, the stupid end consumer! Hahaha! Of course production, storage, delivery-services (the container ship which comes from China and the harbour-companies), logistics, insurances, taxes etc. comes with a price but seen from the plain value-price relation what many MD-companies are doing is the same joke as with LRL-companies. And next year you get a 3-5% improvement an all what you bought until then was becoming "worthless" same as your 2 years old i-Phone!
So finally: Should you get some Legend? Well - if you are interested in a new toy, of course! If you wanna find deep stuff - only with big coil (which is not available so far I know, 45cm (1,5 ft) and upwards). If you are one of these relaxed leasure-park-nature-enjoyers: FOR SURE NOT !!! If you are a Fan of Turkey alias meanwhile Tuerkiye and Nokta / Makro - Makro / Nokta? Yes, because you support their multi-frequency efforts - but don't expect miracles. If you have so far no other metal-detector: Yeah, take it - if you understand the manual and how to use a MD for your personal "special tasks" at all!
