I generally don't use the 'Remember Me' option, as I'm using Public Access machines mostly. Thanks for amending the time-out settings.

Yesterday I made some changes because "Contact Us" was not working for unregistered users, and the "Can't Log In?" sub-forum was messed up. This should not have affected anyone's login. However, when you log in, click the "Remember Me" check box and you won't get logged out automatically. In any case, I've also increased the auto-logout time to 12 hours.

I see you have now modified the Forum settings so a login is required ( I frequently had a quick browse without logging in ). However, having logged in, I found that within 25 minutes, I was no longer logged in. This is far too short. I'm glad I didn't type in a lengthy post and blindly submit it - I would certainly have 'lost it all' due to the login timer. Can the login time be increased to a more useful 60 minutes, please?

And a suggestion for everyone: 'copy' your post text ( to the clipboard ) before submitting, then if things go wrong, you should be able to 'paste' it back in to a new reply.

Probably because metal detectors are strictly illegal in Eqypt and they don't want people to have access on how to build one.

None of this is easy and requires a deep dive into modifying the forum software, which I don't have the time for. For now, it stays as is.

I looked into this and right now there is nothing reasonable I can do. I agree, the top-bar navigation sucks and I've requested that vB improve this.

I don't know anything about mobile phone operation and I don't see anything offhand, but I'll keep looking.
