around 2003 I also did an experiment with a relatively low-powered depth doubler on my test field . it was with a freshly buried coin about 20 cm. There was an improvement, but I consider this experiment insufficient. Because you have to measure soil temperature and soil moisture. you have to measure soil conductivity at a certain temperature and humidity. do experiments with several different types of soil on targets that have been in the soil for years and report the improvement before and after stimulating the soil around the target.I have always been interested in detectors optimized for detecting coins in a purse or ceramic container. The sensor system is very important - I experimented and chose the optimal configuration.however, it differs from detectors on the market Electronics - too. I have a 27-year-old polygon with coins in a pot (at about 72 cm) and in a glass jar - at about 62 cm. before there were granite stones next to the pot and the jar - for markers. they are gone now - agricultural Eurojobbery + corruption - they plowed my test field one time at approx 30 cm and the stones disappeared. I no longer know where exactly the targets are buried on my test field . But it is ideal for detector tests and depth doublers. As well as for unique advertising videos

But you use such a small font that I always have to put on my glasses to be able to read your posts! Age takes its toll.
Ok, what you wrote is reason enough to buy this "simplified" Depth Doubler and find your coins.
The price is fair, I hope.

The difference between the more expensive and "simplified" Depth Doubler is only in the digital part.
The more expensive version has a processor, LCD and buttons.
For setting the duration of the device's operation as well as for charging and monitoring the battery.
The "Simplified" version doesn't have that. The essence is the same in both versions.

I bet many users will be a bit 'scientific' about their first trials, I certainly would be.

I am primarily interested in the experiences of gold nuggets prospectors. This is where CDD should make a significant difference.

That's an interesting question. If anything, I would think non-corroding gold would be least likely to be affected by CDD, and metals that interact with the ground via corrosion ( iron, copper alloys etc ) would be more likely to give positive results. This is why I would be a little pessimistic about CDD and 'deep milled silver' hunting. Typical 900 / 925 silver is fairly inert. I think it's likely that deep targets are the hardest to 'enhance' -- all the other nearby shallow items will also be enhanced, and the wanted target may end up masked more. Plus, the length of the probes places a limit on the ground that's 'enhanced'.
An interesting experiment would be: Make a set of probes that are insulated on their shallower half, so that most of the 'charging current' passes through deeper soil/dirt .

In fact, I think that the main motive for the appearance of CDD was primarily the purpose of searching for native gold.
All other benefits are just good "side effects".
