Nowadays, considering the current situation in the world; nothing is guaranteed to sell!
I am not even interested in sales, I gave up such ambitions a long time ago.
I am interested in such a good detector if I can make it myself and use it for my needs.
For now, the combined use of the magnetometer and the Pulse Star II detector is doing a good job.
But we always strive for better performance while making the machine as simple and easy to use, transport, pack, etc.
Personally, I am very interested in a good hoard hunter.
And I am interested in this Russian detector, or the technology behind it.
Sooner or later something similar will come to me, I hope.

The policy of all companies is commercial . Maximally cheap to produce model that will be sold for a long time . Sales of coin detectors are much larger than deep search detectors . Main reason for the lack of a good depth detector on the market so far . Question- will there be big sales of a good depth detector ?...

Several years ago I was in conversation with someone in a metal detector shop, and he told me that him and his friend both bought a White's Classic 1 detector on the same day. They both attended a dig organized by the metal detecting shop and his friend found a hoard (first time out!). The friend than traded in the White's detector and bought a top of the range Minelab ... and has found nothing since then.

That's absolutely true and I've been noticing it for years... and I'm sick of it!
"Big ME" who has super equipment, who has many years of experience in everything, who is always searching and knows all the tricks...
I will usually take (for pity's sake) someone "born yesterday" with some poor and cheap detector toy.
And it often happens that such one "beats the crap out" of the findings that day!
It seems as if God is playing a joke with us, giving beginners a bunch of good finds to "get caught" and irreversibly enter that hobby.
And me ... with all that pomp and equipment and knowledge ... nothing!
Nothing worth mentioning!
This directly reminded me of my very favorite series "Detectorists" and that young Indian with the funny detector!
Is something happening with that series in the meantime, are there sequels, specials?

I have 20+ years ago, had one Russian pi. coil detector. He did the separation, magnetic and non-ferrous metal. With horizontal coils, he saw deeper. Unfortunately, I stopped searching for a while and gave this device to a friend. He lost it in the mountains.... And now I’m again jogging in old places with a new device, sometimes I come across.

Despite all the stories so far and all my "omniscience"...
the statistics of the last 32 years are very harsh and show me that wealth is not found by those who seek it - but by those who are insanely lucky!
Give him the simplest BFO with 3 germanium transistors and 20 turns coil of the ugliest coiled wire ever... and he'll find an unprecedented fortune!
Give people like me Deus II and the most powerful ML (I didn't follow so I don't know which one)... and I will find... barely 2 and a half scabby and rotten and totally worthless coins!

Say it's PI using half-sine pulses. I don't understand why the coils are spaced apart; with both of them horizontal, the maximum depth is achieved when the coil are concentric.

That's a good question! I'm interested in the same thing! That should be investigated! But the fact is that such detectors really work phenomenally.
