This is the one you want. 3-in-one oscilloscope, signal generator and multimeter. No need to calculate anything-all parameters of waveform are displayed on the screen. Amazon price $88. Good value for money. 50MHz dual channel. FNIRSI 2C5CT

Also get the analog scope, dual channel. You should have both in your arsenal of test gear. (Digital and analog)
Also have a look at the Hantek 6022BE USB oscilloscope. 20MHz dual channel. The software is excellent and you can display waveforms on the big screen and save screenshots for upload. Sells for under $100

If you ever need a cheap logic analyser (5v maximum, digital signals only), look for the 24mHz 8 channel device. The cheapest one you can get. They're about $20 AUD. There are cheap oscilloscopes, such as the Miniware DS211 and DS212

What are your needs, what is the highest frequency you want to measure, and how fast, how many hertz

The DS211 would be good for audio signals. I'm not sure what else it could measure. In my experience with the more expensive one, it worked well but I needed to spend some time reading the manual for it to be useful. I'm good with all kinds of tech, but couldn't use the DS213 without the manual. That is a more expensive one, though it's small.

So, you might want to consider it. For building detectors, your oscope has to be at least two channels. Some oscopes use a 5 volts adapter with a USB cable for power meaning that you can also power it from any 5V power bank. This can protect your oscope from getting fried.

Those are the highlights which I could think of, Good Luck!
                  Thank you for the advice
