Speaking out like this is not something I normally do. Over the years, like most people, I have been let down by others more times than I can count. Usually, I let myself feel angry for a short time and then move on. But my experience with this company was not something I could ignore. It was beyond unacceptable, and I feel a responsibility to share what happened. Staying silent would be unfair to others who might fall into the same situation.
It is difficult to understand how the two individuals running this company have made it this far. To me, they reflect a sad truth about the world we live in. Far too often, those who manipulate others without conscience are the ones who get ahead.
I purchased two products from this company. The first was the EZ Res Pro, a so-called professional resistivity meter still listed for sale on Kellyco at around five thousand dollars. After extensive testing and then opening the unit, I found it was made of low quality Chinese components that anyone can buy online for less than two hundred dollars. The device is completely incapable of detecting buried treasure at any practical depth, despite their claims. I also never received the visualization software from them. There was a total lack of customer support. You can see several examples across the web, of customers complaining about not getting the visualization software.
The second product I purchased from them was the EZ Mag Ultra, which is still being sold for six thousand dollars on Kellyco. It was advertised as a magnetometer capable of producing detailed magnetic field heatmaps. I tested it extensively and was disappointed by the results I achieved over known anomalies. The mapping software did not work at all. I did not receive a working version of the software for months after purchasing the unit, and even then the software was nothing like what was described. The "rugged" Windows tablet that came with the unit was totally useless, with its Celeron processor and 4 GB of memory. I literally ended up throwing it away.
After disassembling the unit itself, I found that around 99% of the interior was filled with hardened black foam. The rest of the enclosure held less than two hundred dollars worth of generic off-the-shelf parts. Including the magnetometer sensor, which was not even close to delivering the level of performance they claimed.
The company’s only distributor in the Philippines has actually stopped selling their products altogether. The owner is an electrical engineer and had to personally handle a wave of unhappy customers, disgruntled by hardware that fell apart and a total lack of technical support. The company gave him almost no support. Eventually, he decided to cut ties completely.
I know all of this sounds unbelievable, especially considering how much prestige this company has built up. Even I struggled to accept what I discovered. But this is the reality. These products do not deliver what they promise, and many good people have lost their money because they trusted the wrong source.
I am sharing this so that you can make an informed decision. Please do your own research before spending your hard-earned money. I made the mistake twice. I hope no one else has to.
