  • Can i use these Old Sanyo crt Tv ICs?

    I had a color Sanyo crt Tv it needed maintenance so i broke it a part thus extracting as many small electronics from it, i have these ICs
    Is there any use for them to make a MD? Also is there any particular part in old TVs to consider? I just want share that with you may be one IC here worth something,

    No,

    the most common IC's used a DIY MD are the following:
    OpAmps: LM358, TL06x & TL07x series, LM324, LM741, NE5534, NE5532, LF412, CA3140 etc.
    Other IC's: 555 timer, ILC7660 or LT1054, CD4066, CD4053, CD40106, CD4093, CD4001, CD4013, CD4017, CD4040, CD4046, CD4538, LM386,etc.
    Voltage regulator: LM78xx, LM79xx, LM317, LM337 etc.

    Of course, there are many more ICs not listed here. The ones listed here are the most common in most DIY designs I've seen.

      TG4053=CD4053?

        The Mitsubishi M54513 is a useful IC, for driving LEDs ( especially bargraphs ) and other low power loads, like audio beepers.

        The AN6912 is a quadruple comparator, equivalent to a common LM339. so potentially useful for a detector, or general electronics stuff.

        And I agree with nejdet, the 4053 device may be the common analogue switch.

        Check all the 3-leaded 'transistors' in this TV, one or two may be 3-terminal regulator IC's, like LM78L05 etc. The PCB silkscreen may indicate if they are transistors ( example Q13, Q22 ) or IC's ( example U4, U12 )

          It's TC not TG
