Hi Detectionman. Congratulation. If you have a signal (from tx to rc) at a distance of 10m then you have a theoretically depth of 5 meters. But don't play with discrimination. It is not possible at 2Box detectors. The frequency is fix (it work with the reflect signal), and phase shift the same and the only that changes is the time that needs the signal to go from tx to ground and after the reflection to the receiver. I can't see any way for discrimination. But maybe YOU ????

The detector that you speak about is not a 2box but a Pulse inductor detector.
But we are not interesting to buy a detector. We have hoby to construct a detector or to make it to work better .

Not all of us have the expert electronics foundation to be able to construct a metal detector from just a schematic! But I would still like the experience of contructing one! So any KITs are greatly looked for and sought after! And any built kits are also sought after! Just my input! I'm mostly a vintage collector! THANKS JOE

these my signal of 10 mts is test only whit my sense multimeter, in sound this only si ear for my only to 8 mts in one tac tac progresive on zero
you say to me, 10 mts is proportional to 5 mts deep in ground, ok these is true, only in objetives messure 3 x 3 mts ferrous, in one objetive 50 x 50 cms to 5 mts, in not possible, ???? i am detect not easy, one circule 50 cms, at 1.5 mts buried recently
in discrimination my idea is for filtering and notch the micro signal of reciver , i am not expert in electronic, my works is liric, in developments on proff and error, other posibilityes is one tx signal modulated special frecuencia mixed, and detectar whit rx , these is most difficultous, i am investigations at future
