  • MDX-1 Metal Detector

A project for a multi-frequency metal detector recently appeared on GitHub, though it has not actually been built. The design is quite good, so I think it is worth taking a look at.

Open multi-frequency + pulse-induction metal detector: KiCad hardware, search coil, portable-C firmware, iOS/Android apps. Experimental, unbuilt. - pingpongshow/MDX-1

What kind of funny schematic drawing style is that? I looked at a sample circuit diagram. I've never seen such a strange one. Completely unreadable. Who on earth creates such incomprehensible circuit diagrams? Or is it all AI-generated? Almost all the components are individually and separat placed on the sheet and then connected via labels.

I also think it’s partly the work of AI; I’ll take a closer look at it when I have more time.
