Regarding the link posted by Fred is a Batashev's samovar. In your samovar there are an awarded medal of 1870. Also was awarded in Exposition of Belgium in 1885, so is of this year or between 1885 to 1900...

The inserted medals (in general in gold or plated) are premiums in expositions.

Look the year 1870, so the samovar is previous this year. Another medal (1885) shows inscription Exposition Universelle... In the list of expositions of 1885 the only in this year was Exposition Universelle d'Anvers, Belgium.

This is unfortunately wrong, it should read:

Narovoy is a town as said earlier, but Paravoy is steam! I read mistakengly the 'P' as an 'N' (in Russian 'П' and 'H') The factory existed in Tula between the end of the XIX and beginning of the XX centuries.

i am glad to say that i find a old golden russian samawar,
i find it in a ancient village, i clean it carefully,
it's height is 42 cm and it's weight is about 5.0 kg !!!
i attach some photos from it,
please russian friends help me to translate words on it... thanks.
i want undrestand it's old and it's worth ...!!!
