I think you're wrong, I started from 0 in August (without knowing absolutely nothing), and I have several metal detectors in operation, only depends on the time you invest, and of course you need to spend money on metering equipment and components, a greeting .

Hey depdawg, cool yer jets there dude! I started on this forum myself several months ago, and have been studying electronics like crazy ever since. Two months in I realized I was in WAY over my head. Now several months later, I've learned a lot, aborted two attempts at building the Hammerhead circuit, have started to contribute to this forum when I can, and still ask "dumb" questions
damned near every time I log on. I've got a coupla threads I started months ago that haven't gotten a hit yet. I figure either my question was too stupid to justify a response or so brilliant it scared 'em (yeah, right...).

Think of the free interchange of ideas as kinda like making sausage, the results can be worth it but the process ain't pretty. Be patient...
