Golden Mask 1 help needed please

I've got a Golden Mask 1. Not the plus.

Does anyone know if the coil plug and control box connector is from the Tesoro range of machines please. If you lightly tap the coil lead close to the plug, the machine sounds off.
Also. Has anyone fitted a volume control to this model. The volume is very loud as it is now. I have to use volume control headphones to be able to use it. But with these phones,when the volume is lowered to a comfortable level,then the sharpness of the signals goes out the window.

Common problem with these cheaply made machines Ash. Sorry. That's why the original dealer stopped selling them in the UK.
