Minelab Gpx4500 clone

G'day,

I contacted the supplier for Australia (not located in Australia as claimed but in China) a while back and I was told the GPX4500F is a VLF.

Interesting that there is so much confusion over something which should be simple to determine. It looks as if we won't really know anything for certain until someone buys one and then posts here.

This thread got me thinking about the claims that have been commonly made by metal detector manufactures in the past. When Minelab brought out the SD2000 in 1995 the salesmen used to tell the punters that the SD2000 was not a Pulse Induction (PI) MD but was an entirely new technology. And the excuses would flow with one salesman telling me as he had been given a conducted tour of Minelabs manufacturing plant in Adelaide he therefore knew for sure the detector was not a PI MD. In New Zealand the Minelab salesmen used to have a memorised spiel they would give each punter who walked through the door enqiring about purchasing a detector, which made a great many claims including the claim that because New Zealand had highly mineralized soil the only suitable detector to purchase was a Minelab. When in fact New Zealand has the quietest (non-mineralized) ground anywhere in the world! And just recently I learnt Minelab have been telling the punters here in New Zealand that the best model of Minelab MD to buy thats most suitable for New Zealand ground conditions is not the GPX4500 but another model (can't remember exactly which one. But it is one of their PI models). I wonder what their reasoning is behind this as they probably still think New Zealand ground is highly mineralized. However ... this has probably always been the way of MD salesmen and probably always will be. Its all about buyer beware ... and asking the right questions on forums such as this before buying anything.

but i may think that i told him that i hope that is a pulse in first conversion
so i guess he said pulse because i wanned it to be and i said to him i will order if it is a pulse pi device..he he x 2

We wouldn't say it's just the same good as minelab gpx4500 ,but it's a fairly well functional gold hunter

it's actually made in china

there is 1 year factory warranty for this GPX4500F metal detector.

look at Frequency gpx4500f have 9,6khz and also have 120khz..maaan its wrong wrong info for item
but both have 400khz audio..
eaven resellers dont know what they sell ??

I have made purchase via Alibaba, Hong Kong base company. They asked me to make transfer to Bank in Indonesia (warehouse problems and so..)
It was 2 years ago. I did get nice invoice but never heard from them any more. They do not answer any emails and Company name and phone belongs to other manufactures not dealing with this electronics. The ligament company claimed that some one high jacked they details and made add on Alibaba and they made report to Police. I have reported this case to Indonesia Police, Indonesia Ambasy, Indonesian Bank, Australian Police, and FBI for internet fraud.
Guess what, the add is all the time on Alibaba. If I want to make contact I have to pretend I am some one else. I said by by to my money.
If do not believe – it takes only 3 min. to make very nice add on Alibba, just make sure that the company name and phone number is real but for contact make hotmail or gmail address.
This is reality You may not be aware of.

Although it mainly talks about the Escrow service, there is still some good advice there. The bottom line is - if you are at all suspicious, then don't send any money, especially using money transfer. When you pay by Credit Card or PayPal you are covered against fraud.

Yes, but not in every case, only when explicite indicated by the credit card issuer (very rare) or by PayPal (by rule on eBay).
