"Carl Mooreland gives Tom Massie a tour of the White's Electronics Plant in Sweethome, Oregon"
Wes, don't write more "Moreland" with double "o"!

Those were early-60's BFO detectors. Back then, the "best" detector was the one with the most knobs & meters!

I managed to download the video from YouTube using the Downloadhelper plugin for Firefox on Ubuntu. It was saved as an flv file and plays well in MediaPlayer.

WesP - Is this the whole program, or was there also a tour of the White's factory?

Carl gives a tour of White's Electronics

Youtube may get thousands of hits now , I hope the Hollywood fame does not change him or this forum !!!! There is still the unsolved mystery of his forum avatar , and I am not going to be the one to ask . I did enjoy seeing the video . Thanks again.........Regards.........Eugene

[Fred]

I just noticed Carls is no more in the printers business .

Excellent tour of the museum!

I would not worry if Carl's avatar does not look exactly like him.
Mine does not look like me, and I have a suspicion that WesP's avatar does not look like him either.

Best wishes,
J_P

Part 2

I realized that there was a second part after I had uploaded the video. I'll try and get part2 up in the near future.
