FCC operational frequency ranges?

I read something that briefly mentioned FCC operational frequency limits and then realized I'd never thought of that. What are they?
Do metal detectors have a unique product class? Does my ham license let me do anything special?

I'm sure some of these freqs can be used for other purposes with limited power output.

IE 70 Khz is allocated for Radio Use but some Gold detectors use it.
