HELP with TESORO ELDORADO cant detect iron with disc pot in min. position

That's marvellous lol, im wanting to get rid of the iron on my Eldorado, im detecting smallish iron with disc on tabs, its driving me mad and I think the Tesoro has to go

hello from czech republic my eldorado works good and deep,bud disc does work good,in min position of disc pot eldorado cant detect iron,detector detect only non ferrous materials.i have a coil from TGSL,but i tried a coil from compadre and eldorado still not detect iron.where is problems? help please its my school project.

Hi Jaccob,
Discrimination can be changed by relative resonance frequency of RX coil. Note that with capacitance change of C1 and C2, you can adjust the phase of received signal from 0deg to almost minus180deg.

NOTE: Capacitor C1 represents equivalent capacitance of search head with cable, capacitor C2 - equivalent capacitance inside control box.

I think you will find its meant to be like that. No Iron on min discrim.Switch to all metal to detect iron
