Seems Pirat is also another variation of famous Wave!
Search the forum and look up for Wave topic, there are several Wave schematics.
Maybe, using schematics, you can improve it a bit better!
Or, in case i am wrong, would be good if you can post a few photos of it's pcb.
Than we can analyze it and recognize which one of those "zillion" versions it can be!
Open it and make several photos of it's inside.

First we need to know how deep is the Pirate Black-Devil.

It depends on the money you wanna spent and what you
wanna search exactly. For small gold-nuggets you need
a different detector than for large and deep objects.

Hello Orbit, I've sent him a message yesterday, he is from Romania, but this is his opinion that Bulgarian detectors are deeper than other vlf detectors. I do not agree with his opinion, because i had a bulgarian detector and i know, their instability problems, but I do not want to argue about it, everyone has the right to believe what he wants..
