    HIGH VOLTAGE diode STTH1210

Ultrafast recovery - high voltage diode

    Features and benefits
    ■ Ultrafast, soft recovery
    ■ Very low conduction and switching losses
    ■ High frequency and/or high pulsed current
    operation
    ■ High reverse voltage capability
    ■ High junction temperature
    ■ Insulated packages:
    – TO-220Ins
    Electrical insulation = 2500 VRMS
    Capacitance = 7 pF
    – TO-220FPAC
    Electrical insulation = 2500 VRMS
    Capacitance = 12 pF
    Description
The high quality design of this diode has
produced a device with low leakage current,
    regularly reproducible characteristics and intrinsic
ruggedness. These characteristics make it ideal
for heavy duty applications that demand long term
    reliability.
    Such demanding applications include industrial
power supplies, motor control, and similar
    mission-critical systems that require rectification
and freewheeling. These diodes also fit into
auxiliary functions such as snubber, bootstrap,
    and demagnetization applications.
The improved performance in low leakage
current, and therefore thermal runaway guard
band, is an immediate competitive advantage for
    this device.

also Keith inportant knowledge. protect the board against electrostatic discharge. remember - on your body, hands,
ALWAYS IS ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE. so if you want to take the pcb take for MINUS or PLUS power supply tracks.
close all pots by one naked wire and connect this wire to especial point on board,
take just for this wire at first.
    just read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrostatic_discharge
i do not want open new thread on the subject because my english is zeroed.
follow this simple rule. CMOS chips is afraid the HV ESF discharge onto the way 'your hands <---> CMOS pins'.

guys i repeat some things again.

If you want to use Delta Pulse with just small coil (like the video).

You can tune FIRST DELAY to its minimal 12-15us. Change C4 to 820-910pF. R7 to 7.5k.
Change C5 to 1nF to decrease a STROBES' WIDTH to 20-25us.

    Tune frequency to 300pps. Change C1 to 10nF and R1 to 160-180k.

after arrival. solder mosfet and HV diode on board. clear pads by alhocol. check by magnifier 6x-10x the soldering points, they have not to be closed.
test PCB on table with small coil 300-550mH and power supply 12V. all pots have to be set in marked position. then after success collect it in a housing.
    all the best.
