356uH, 1.2R, adjust delay until minimal sensitivity to magnet then set the damp resistor. Thats all i did. With a new 40106 only 1 inch is differnce. But my lucky parralel bad ic always outlast the new one.

For those who have couple of defective cd40106 from the previos design try to put it in parallel in this corrected lay out.. i have 5 not working well ic and i got two of them works more powerful than the good one when put in parallel.

ICL7660 failure..cannot find lt1054,, maybe i just stick on 7660 and lowered my supply voltage.

Jladre, swing beep is gone, its beep only when you shake turn.

That's because the mods improve the Earth Field elimination. The beep when shaking is probably caused by a loose connection in the coil, or a poor shield in the connecting cable.
