Of course, this may not be the problem anyway. I suspect it could be your coil that causes the threshold to be towards one end of the adjustment.

    Hello
I solved my problem by replacing the cd40106 with hef40106.
with the replacement of this frequency to pin4 U4 becomes 730Hz, perhaps too high.
put in parallel 1000pF to C5.
in this way the frequency becomes 630Hz, more stable threshold, does not indicate ferrite, depth 28cm 1euro ok!
a question to understand: the secondary sampling is necessary to clear the ground effect?
as this parameter is determined by the construction guide Silverdog
Secondary sample delay (EFE) U4 pin + 8 = 400us main sample delay
    Secondary sample = 46us pulse (U4 Pin 12)
    regards

Seems like a decent aluminum enclosure.

    KT315 is correct (in metric).
The board size was kept the same as the original from Alexismex, which is actually 3.8" x 2.6" (96.5mm x 66.0mm) to be exact.

maximum height depends on the capacitor C1 1000uF, if you can put it horizontally gains anything, attentive even if you put the mosfet heatsink.
    measures such as post Homefire.

Hello, I have a barracuda on order from silverdog and I'm trying to get the other parts together. I want to get a housing, but I don't see the dimensions of the board listed anywhere. Can anyone help me out?
