For anyone interested in building the standard IDX Pro (without the 2-tone module), I will also upload the working PCB layout and the Gerber files for my version.
This PCB has been fully tested and works correctly on my build, so it might be useful for others who want to make this detector.

I’ll attach the schematic, the PCB layout, and the Gerbers

Hello luci. What's the detector's reaction to gold? Is it possible to search for gold nuggets? Do you know how to program? I built a MAGPI V3 detector. This detector is very sensitive, detecting a gold plate measuring 3x6x0.3 mm at a distance of 3 cm. It also detects soil and, I think, airplanes in the sky. Maybe you might be interested in it?

                Hello everyone,

Some time ago I started this thread looking for collaborators to build a modern IDX Pro metal detector based on an STM32F411 and an ESP32.

I wanted to share a quick update: the hardware is now fully working and has been successfully tested. The detector communicates via Bluetooth with a custom Android application, which displays real-time discrimination signatures for different targets.

The Android application is still under active development, but the project has reached an exciting stage and I'm very happy with the results so far.

In this short video you can see tests on rusty iron, copper, silver, gold and bronze, together with the live discrimination radar displayed by the Android app.

As always, comments, ideas and technical feedback are welcome.
