I have a 5k1 and a 10k smd resistor. I will try the 5k1. But bevor, please see my Video on youtube.

Now I have installed a 10k resistor, and the battery checker works now

The best value for the R71 are 9k, but i haven´t one ..... 10k works too ...

you could be selling complete kits with the pcb, components and box on ebay for example several detectors as bandido, the tgsl or idx smd or edu .... I know silverdog but the fact on ebay like that you can buy even outside the country.
