    my dear friend porkluvr
ok i want put my pictures (for today)but i can say for you v(tx) is ok,v(sa)is ok,v(sb)not good but i dont know i can adjustment that by discrimination again measure that tomprrow, and v(sc)like #106.

just a question you say put all potentiometers set at ~50%, should adjust pps and pw and do you adjust them,

If you need something else probed in this circuit let me know and I'll try to accomodate.

ok my friend i think my pcb have not error and again measurment and thanks for your wonderful work and simulation,ok please take for pin3 & pin6 ne5534,pin6,7,9,10 U3 and pin6 4053 .
if need i put my new images,
thanks and you Hope me and i can not rum figure in scope so need help you, thank you very much

    Mohandes,

All the measurements you described look OK so far as I can tell.

I gather that your PCB was designed from Alexi's schematic drawings. I won't ask you which schematic you used any more.

Here is a screen shot from a simulation of the timer and tx subcircuits. (You should disregard my reference designators i.e. U1, R1, C1, etc. because they do not correspond to your drawing.)
Pulse positions correspond to having your potentiometers set at ~50%.

If you need something else probed in this circuit let me know and I'll try to accomodate.

What the pin-14 discriminate pot does is change the pulsewidth of your secondary sample pulse, sb. With the components shown on Alex's schematic the secondary pulse would range about 47us~147us, depending on discrimination pot setting. In the simulation the R value corresponds to ~50% pot setting, and although it might be hard to see, the sb pulse is about 100us wide.

edit: Two posts were made in the time between I started making this post and the time I finished. I have not had time to absorb the meaning of Mohande's latest problem report.

Being a guru means only that you have a lot of posts on the forum, and not that you are skilled in looking at the crystal ball. From what you write I can't say anything useful. I guess no one else can either.

You may try to get familiar with this chip so that you know what to expect.

    hi all
this is Unclear error for me and until now no body understand it , and i am become tired.
who guys do know how can i solve the error on U3(or second 453
today again i go in collage just pin 10or 9 i think have pulse and pin6,7,9or10i think have not it.
and check all parts pcb ,out put of ne555 and ne 5534 are correct,i an adjustment pps and pw for ne555,and my out put in ne5534 change by multi meter on pin8,and for U2(first 453all out put (pin6,7,9,10)are Square wave and 10 volt.and an adjustment pin6 by
    delay volume.

and just pin 9,10 and pin6 4053 are good(pin6 have little error for wave) but the pin11 is very bad.

i wait to one guru say me what is my wrong and if need say to me to put the pictures

    thanks

    HI all freind and guru
i replace all ices and check again pcb and measure by multimeter befor than i go to collage, and again write my result
    for U2 :
    pin 6 and pin10 and pin9have -10.8 volt and pin7 is -0.07volts
and the ferequency for pin6,7,10 are 115hz for pin9 is 135hz and ithink this ic is OK!

    for U3:
pin 6 and pin10 and have -10.8 volt , pin9 and pin7 are 0 volts ,IS IT OK??????
and the ferequency JUST pin10 have 115hz , IS IT OK!(i dont this is my problem but how?i check all and not found it,any body knows my error and can tell me please, what do MULTI TURN in pin14?)

thanks just tell me for tomorrow i can give a good answer of me detect.i will go test it tomorrow please help and tell me U3 is ok or no?

It's not really important anyway, because what you were asking about is probably an impossibility. You might find a detector to search 5 meters deep (although, don't count on it), and you might find a discriminating detector, but I seriously doubt that you could find a DIY project for something that does both at the same time.

Try to isolate problem this way: pulses should look like on gregori's schematic, but 4538 have two complementary outputs, pins 6 \7 and 9\10, measure output, you will see identical signal, just inverted,if just one is wrong, trace that connection or replace chip. But before all this: RECHECK ALL UNUSED PINS,1,4,12,15 TO -10.6V, 3,13 TO GND. If left open, can mess up whole circuit operation. If this is OK, try to probe each MMV, what is on input (5,11) and what you get at output pins to isolate wrong one. Never mind WIMA, company, MKT is just type, fine if value is correct.
I checked PCB, no visible errors
HI dear tepco, and thanks for check

yes i said to georgi before and put the picture of the U3 for pin 10 look(pin10 connectto pin5) :and i think this is my wrong

because have no voltage(very little) and pulse BUT I SHOULD MEASURE ALL PINS YOU SAY AGAIN WITH COIL ,and i say to you and georgi.

    RECHECK ALL UNUSED PINS,1,4,12,15 TO -10.6V, 3,13 TO GND/
    i am sure correct

    try to probe each MMV
it is to hard for me, and dont understand(my means language)???????

Thanks and regards for all helps and guide
