Ha, ha, ha!
So far i located 3 different names for the very same product:
YD4320
COS-620
POS3200
And price range is really wide!
Always look up for the smallest price.
$240 is fair price. I payed 200 euros for it, including all the costs.
I wonder... if this is some standard model from some more known manufacturer, copied and mass produced by Chinese?
So far i am more than satisfied and happy with it.

ivconic, that looks like a decent one, where did you buy it, the pc ones gp for around $50 to $100 us on ebay, are they no good either, The hanteks model 6022b or something like that, there some youtube videos on it and it looks decent.

They all decent for some purpose.
But for measuring whats going on in metal detectors, especially in PI metal detectors; you'll need proper and capable instrument.
I bought this one from local importer. Who import things from China.
You can probably find it on Aliexpress, i haven't checked.
Or you can search the ebay for some second hand.

A good friend helped me to obtain new oscilloscope the other day.
Analog 2-channel 20MHz. Brand new one, made in China.
POS3200 model.
Finally i can measure the signals which i couldn't with several digital ones i had so far, from the lower price range.
Overall i had probably dozen oscilloscopes so far in my "career". Mostly old obsolete models with very modest performances.
I had pc based one too.
If you want to buy digital one; be prepare to spend decent sum of money, because lower price range will not do what you expect from them.
And on the other side; with very modest money you can obtain analog one which is capable to meet most of the demands.
These days i am playing with this analog one with great joy. Finally i have "eyes" to see some things.

I was thinking on buy a scope, and have read the threads here, how about a pc based scope, i have never used one so analog vs digital i probably wouldnt know the diff, would a low priced pc base dversion work as long as it was 2 channel 25 hrz ect

Hi, i agree that Rigol is better but i wanted a portable oscilloscope.
Also i agree to "hear" the guru at scopes...

I bought a Owon 7102V and it is a good choise.
It has a battery inside so has the ability to be a portable scope with 8" screen. It is very good.
The only ""problem"" that i found is that it is not so stable at modulated signals compared with my analog scope.
