forgiveness, committed an error, the correct regulador is the LM350, which provides a maximum current of 3 amperes

Let's not overlook one of the members here who has a lot of projects on his website:

    http://www3.telus.net/chemelec/Projects/Projects.htm

Now, if only he would get that 2 box project going.

A LM317 is fine, if you like simple Solutions.
It has minimum output Voltage of 1.2 V, but i guess this can be hacked
if you connect the 5k pot to -1.2 Volts instead of ground.

Build your own Test Equipment !!!

Thank-You Fred and Carlos for your posts and input . The most important piece of test equipment , besides an oscilloscope or power supply is a Function Generator , But it must have a very , very low signal to noise and low THD !! I am still searching the internet and will post a few more generator circuits . I will try to put the real good ones I find , in a zip-file for easy reference . I know a good piece of test equipment can sure help to isolate noise problems or chatter with the Tesoro Golden Sabre Light circuit !!...........Regards............Eugene

Les envio un medidor de periodo, lo utilizo para realizar las mediciones de los periodos de los tiempos del detector tipo pi. el contador cambio por el ci 74C926 de 4 digitos, funciona ok!!!
    Carlos

They sent a meter of period time, use it for measurement of periods of time detector type pi. I change the IC for the 74C926 with 4 digit display, it works ok! there is in spanish

Thanks for posting these Projects , it is nice to have choices on what Function / Signal Generator to build !!!!! .............Regards..........Eugene

Build your own Test Equipment !!!

I found another function generator project . What I did on this one is , I put everything together in one zip-package . This project "KIT" is no longer available -anywhere . It can still be built and again , the MAX038 I.C. can still be found , if you search......This project was originally from a 1996 electronic magazine , and since the MAX038 i.c. chip is officially discontinued . It is ok for me to post this here , on this Great Forum.........Cheers...........Eugene
