I have found a way to fix older teknetics battery problem .

The worst part is removing side decals have to work very slow with a heat gun

Tips on keeping battery terminal corrosion gre use dielectric grease on contacts, desiccant moisture removing pack in detector battery compartment when not in use,I put them in my detector bags,remove batteries after using detector.
