On the 6000 both the TX and RX coils are CT.

    Sorry!
I was looking at CM6000 schematic!
Just trying to redraw it too.

    TX coil is confusing.
    Is it center tapped?
In case of makind the DD coil; this needs clarification.

If anyone can contribute with perfectly clear COINMASTER 6000 schematic?

Scale meter is used in simplest way possible. tied to audio output. I don't like it. It's redundant, the was it is used.
At Discovery TF900 however; scale is used in much smarter and usable was and I like it.
I noticed that at the tinest signals; scale will deflect a bit and "announce" the target much earlier than audio will appear.
I like that. And that can be used further to improve the concept.
Mixing from exepriences with DTF900 and WCM5K; I can come up with interesting desing.
WCM5K can also be arranged to work as pretty good 2box too.

Most modern coil designs are just the coils, no extra components unless the resonant cap is in the assembly. The CM5000 oscillator looks simple and should require just the LC as shown in the schematic, so a DD coil should not be difficult. But I don't know if maybe your coil doesn't match the schematic and the extra components were used to tweak the RX phase. Unfortunately I have no other information on these old models other than what's floating around the Internet.
Yes, that's why I simplified the schematic draw in that part.

Only I didn't touch the potentiometers, looks like I'll have to take them apart, wash and clean them. It is possible that some of them will have to be replaced.
The scale sometimes brake and stop, as if it is stuck somewhere. And that must be looked at and resolved.
I was afraid that the coil was faulty, because it came to me opened. But it was not visible that anything was touched inside. Now it is clear that the coil is fine.
Only problems with potentiometers are noticeable. The detector behaves very well.
This is exactly the kind of non motion I had in mind.
All circumstances considered; I am very pleased with how it works and how promising it is.
The only thing that needs to be changed here is the coil itself, the TX oscillator... to come up with a concept with a simple coil, without internal electronics.
So that various coils of different sizes could be made later. Easy and simple. Only two coils inside. Without too many complications.
