    Please don't let this turn into a who invented what spat, this forum is not the place for that as I found out shortly after I first joined.

    We come here to exchange ideas ( well I do, though mine are usually a bit dumb , but that's probably because the only time I open my mouth is to change foot) !!

    Dear „unregistered’’ from Varna. You invented warm water 15 years before. Then I gave you the first variant of this schematic. It is made with PN 4393 transistors instead CD4007. You still make it and earn good money.

    Common transistors in Europa are BC types. Also Rebeks use these (BC547 and BC557). Some of us save the schematic of this detector, but today can't found on Geotech Archives. More oldest schematic can be found, but no the Rebeks.

    WOW KT315, that looks like one mother of a powerful machine. I agree with the throry that square waves go deeper. Ask Minelab, it's what they use and they call it MF, but let's not go down that road.

    IF you split the returned square wave into six channels and use harmonics (even to make a square wave...oops sorry for the eggs again) you can demodulate the three double channels (X and Y) as per a normal detector (JUST like Minelab do) and combine the resultant demodulated signal to give good discriminate. You would be using Freq(Tx) + Freq(Tx X 2) + Freq(Tx X 4) to give you a multi frequency machine. IF you use a programmable PLL to give you the multiples, you can use different "channels".

    The trick is to pick the RIGHT frequencies or channels for the ground conditions. If you used an ATMEL chip to do this, I'm sure you could make a VERY good machine, at least as good as a Sovereign, and it's not that complicated , yet ML would have you believe they could put a man on Mars with their machines.

About 4 or 5 years ago was a site on the internet that had a complete chart of all metal detectors made and a depth chart of how deep each detector went. Was a Polish site . The document was 3 pages long. Wish I could find it now. The chart had 2 coil sizes on each detector model number and the depth in cm. Was pretty Nice. Wish I could find it now.     yes, I did lose of sight... Cyclone have released new schematic.

    I think Anker would be much,much better if made with ordinary one-2907 output

    much people say Bounty Hunter is good detector. then they add 'but would be best detector if it takes still 5 cm (2') plus in depth'. I would like to say you -the real battle is to get this 5 sm!
    you probably did not see Sov. Elite inside, you could see full bridge output driver on 4 x TO-220 packs there!
