"Nexus" schematics are 3-4 similar clones. The author (georgi) claims that its his own idea, but i doubt that since as sasho says this type of coils and circuit are designed very time long ago when mr.georgi was in the kinder garden.

This is not ,,Nexus”. Metaldetectors with this coil and generator we made in Bulgaria in 1978 year. This construction is mine. Depth is 30 cm, Ø 2.5 cm target.

But i thing Sean is right! Strong TX doesnt help much. Anker is good example for this; I think Anker would be much,much better if made with ordinary one-2907 output....much calmer on the ground...

Look familiar Sasho. Coild it be the Nexus, or am I dreaming again. I had a VERY similar circuit (the same in fact) given to me about a year ago. I prefer KT315's version though.

On the diagram I had there was a not that the Tx signal was 100V pk-pk. yet surely this would saturate the ground matrix...Just a guess.
