There is a german website with detailed infos and manuals etc.
So please read everything here and find out the differences of II and III:

            http://kts-electronic.com/en/

At least you will need a 50cm P.I. coil for caches because the 1m frame is not useful everywhere.

              thank you on answer
I have read this , what I thought it is opinions from people who already have used
one it's on MD web page like info and in reality sometimes quite opposite .....
and because of many similar products can not decide which one it is good choice .....
because of this reason experience from knowledgeable experienced people is very important and save money, time ... ..

I'm thinking to use PI in combination with VLF MD for hoard treasure what do you think about this

Is it possible to know what is detected with PI MD before dig
because some PI devices give ferrous/non ferrous display with arrow or numbers about 100 and above non ferrous under 100 ferrous.... are these correct readings

please give info which models you use....

Maybe you find here a person who has already used those P.I.'s you mention but I doubt it.
But you can check the P.I. forums or threads here and ask there again.

Personally I don't work with P.I. so far because of different reasons but this may chance in the future.

However there are a lot of contra arguments like:
                  - bad or no discrimination, slow recovery speed, easy distortable, always rrrrrrr or klack-klack-klack sound

You will not know with PI exactly what is buried and such device only would make sense if
you plan to work with a 50cm or 1m coil. But for 50cm coil you also can use some VLF-detector.

And walking inside a 1m frame also is a special thing.

My only help here was to say that PI might not be the best alternative for you.
                      So thx for your compliment.

Seen from the technology PI needs a huge upgrade because it wastes alot energy
and even with ultra-fast micro-processors it can't compete with induction balance.

The main problem is the far too low inductivity !!!

They use low inductivity because this way at least the pulse-speed can be somehow fast enough
but if PI would be real pushed to its limits it has to come with thick coils with many windings
and then it may beat induction balance for people who have alot time for careful and very deep search activity!

The bad discrimination would be still a problem but there are electronic possibilities meanwhile
to get good discrimination for PI - but it will take some time until the actual tech will be improved enough.

btw. the KTS Pulse and the Pulse Star are both very good P.I. detectors -
you have chosen already perhaps the best available selection!
But I would recommend the KTS with magnetometer - with it you have alot options
and it comes with a fine 50cm coil and very good german quality standards.

A few years ago I visited KTS near Frankfurt, BRD personally and bought my first profi detector there and got it
for a fantastic friendship-price! OK, it was used but it still works fantastic!

The engineer behind KTS really has very good know-how concerning PI and improved it alot over all the many years!

                          The answer will follow soon.

I forgot to mention the Lorenz PI detectors!
                          see here:
                          http://www.metaldetectors.de/
                          http://nuggets.at/LORENZ-Z1-Z-1-Deep...Metalldetektor
For profi-treasure-hunter this is also a good option.
It was used at Oak-Island - without success - but this has had other reasons.

                            > what do you think about this PI MD

It depends on how undisturbed is the soil (no mineralized rocks) and how good is the warranty etc. service.
This is no real test if the persons already know the exact location.
What counts is that signals have a high enough contrast factor and that those are repeatable.

Per instance what will you do if you walk around with the 1m coil and some 4cm alu-foil crap will create a signal?
Do you think you can locate it and find / eliminate this unwanted thing?
However - such issues are much easier to handle with a sweepable 40-50cm coil.

Of course it may look seductive to you if such an 1m frame finds the huge and deep stuff,
but under real treasure-hunting conditions it may be completly different.

Because most of the stuff is not super big and deep but in the range of a 50cm coil.
I can recommend such 1m frame P.I. only if the area is pretty small and you are
absolutly shure that somewhere must be the real big metal-mass.

Otherwise you may have alot problems with such a big coil and many wrong signals.

KTS PI is very bad detector every 30 seconds search reset very unstable device !
